Register Now for Eight Great Weeks of Summer Camp!
The Youth Center’s Summer Camp offers a wider variety of activities at more affordable rates than any other full-day camp in the area. Field trips include visits to Bousquet Water Park and Six Flags New England. And the cost is only $130 for a full week, or $30 per day.
New This Summer
Recent Williams College grads Kait O’Brien and Andrea Scioscia will join us the entire week starting July 18 with a healthy living curriculum focusing on diet and exercise. Their approach is high-energy, exciting, and, most important, FUN. They’ll play games, make snacks, and engage the kids over the course of five days. We’ll also make time that week for our regular field trips.
Field Trips to the Williams College Museum of Art
The WYC’s art club will make four trips to WCMA this summer. This week’s trip:
A Sense of Place
Wed., July 6
Get Lost in a painting: On this WCMA tour, students will use close-looking skills and a lot of imagination to experience art about different places. Using the five senses to imagine what it would be like to be in a work of art, students will look at ways artists can make choices to change the mood and impression of a location.
